Expired 35 mm Film

I shot these photos on some expired disposable that my husband gave me... They didn't come out quite like I thought they would and some didn't come out at all.  That's the beauty of film though you never now what you're going to get or as my little niece would say "you get what you get and you don't throw a fit!".

These were shot at Ocean Beach Pier and the San Diego Zoo. Building memories and capturing some.

35 mm | Fall

Hello, I just dropped off some film at the photo center today and am really excited to see how they came out! That being said, I never shared these photos of the pumpkin patch + a trip to Julian, Ca. with some of our friends. I like these photos very much. My favorites being the one of the boys skipping rocks and the one I captured of our friends as the beautiful little family they are. By the way if you are ever in Julian, please stop by Julian pie company and grab some apple pie + cinnamon ice cream, you'll thank me later. XOXO Lidia

35 mm Maximiliano's Birthday + Birthday Party

I've talked about my fascination with film here before. I Really love how it captures real moments.

These two sets are from Maximiliano's birthday at the zoo and Maximiliano's birthday party at the park (I shared some digital photos and talked all about his birthday here before). I just picked a few from each set to share here. Both days were kind of gloomy so these pictures aren't as bright as I'd like them to be but they captured some great moments... and tantrums! hehe. Now I need to buy a photo album to put all these in.

P.S. These are some random photos my sister and I took, to use up the extra film in the cameras. I really like the lighting in these and the green in the background.

35 mm Mostly Easter

I love 35 mm. These were from a disposable that my husband bought me for Easter.
I just love that film captures real moments as opposed to digital were you tend to
take a picture, look over it, delete if you don't like and finally retake until you get a good one.

I captured some really good moments, some of my favorite photos being the one of
Maximiliano with the black sheep in the back, Maximiliano and I walking back from
downtown and Damian wearing the Easter Bunny ears. Then there are the bad photos...
like the one where my finger takes up half of the photo! Already bought two more
disposables for Maxi's birthday next week. So excited, my baby is turning two!
